6 SurveySparrow Alternatives in 2026, Compared on Price and Limits

SurveyRock Team · · 7 min read

The best SurveySparrow alternative depends on why you’re leaving. If you want more responses and no branding on a smaller plan, look at SurveyRock. For a one-question-at-a-time feel, look at Typeform. For a familiar survey tool, look at SurveyMonkey. If you need research methods at a published price, look at Alchemer or QuestionPro. For a CX platform sold by quote, look at Zonka Feedback.

We make SurveyRock, so it’s first on this list. We’ve used the same format for every tool, including ours, with the catch for each.

Prices are US list prices in US dollars, checked on 2 November 2026 unless the note at the end says otherwise. For comparison, SurveySparrow’s free plan gives you 75 responses a quarter. Basic is $19 a month billed yearly, or $228 a year, for 2,500 responses a year. Custom branding starts at Business, $948 a year billed yearly. Paid plans are billed quarterly or yearly, with no monthly option.

When to stay on SurveySparrow

Stay if you run conjoint or pricing studies. Conjoint works out which product features people value by having them choose between versions of a product. SurveySparrow’s Research Starter plan, $199 a month billed yearly or $299 billed quarterly, includes conjoint and pricing research methods, with one active research survey at a time. SurveyRock has MaxDiff, which ranks items by importance, but not conjoint. Stay too if you rely on its chat-style surveys, or on sending surveys by WhatsApp, which SurveyRock doesn’t do yet.

1. SurveyRock

Best for: teams that want more responses and no platform branding on a small plan, with NPS and follow-up in one product.

Solo is $35 a month or $350 a year, with 2,500 responses a month, skip logic and no SurveyRock branding. Team is $79 a month or $790 a year, with 10,000 responses a month, 5 staff seats, and your own logo and colors. NPS analytics and follow-up actions are on every plan, with 3 open actions on Free, and workflows start at Team. From Growth at $179 a month, theme detection groups open-text answers and key driver analysis ranks which questions move most closely with your score. The Pageless format shows one question at a time on every plan, and you can pay monthly on any self-serve plan. New accounts get 14 days of Growth with no credit card.

The catch: no SMS or WhatsApp sending yet, no chat-style format and no conjoint. The Free plan has no skip logic or email invitations. We hold no SOC 2 or ISO certification today; both are on our roadmap.

2. Typeform

Best for: forms where the feel of answering matters, shown one question at a time.

Basic is $39 a month or $327 a year for 100 responses a month. Plus is $79 a month or $663 a year for 1,000 responses and removes Typeform’s branding. Business is $129 a month or $1,083 a year for 10,000 responses.

The catch: response limits are low for the price, so high-volume surveys get expensive. Compare six Typeform alternatives, or see how it compares.

3. SurveyMonkey

Best for: teams that want a familiar survey tool with a broad feature set.

Paid plans start at $468 a year, billed annually, or $149 a month if you need monthly billing.

The catch: removing its branding starts at $1,668 a year, and going over your limit costs $0.15 a response. See every SurveyMonkey plan and what it really costs.

4. Alchemer

Best for: teams that want research methods at a published price.

Collaborator is $55 per user a month or $315 per user a year, with 75,000 responses a year. Its logo stays on this plan. Professional is $165 per user a month or $1,075 per user a year, with 100,000 responses a year, and removes the logo. Full Access is $275 per user a month or $1,895 per user a year, with 125,000 responses a year and market research questions, including conjoint. Monthly limits apply within those yearly figures.

The catch: its pricing page lists no free plan, only a 7-day trial of Professional. Self-serve plans stop at 3 users, and prices are per user.

5. QuestionPro

Best for: research teams that want many question types and published per-user prices.

The free plan allows 200 responses per survey for one user. Advanced is $99 per user a month, billed annually, with 25,000 responses a year and 38 question types. Team Edition is $83 per user a month for 5 or more users, with 100,000 responses a year.

The catch: the published prices are per user and billed annually. Its help page says the “Powered by QuestionPro” footer stays on Advanced and above, and its Research Suite is priced through sales.

6. Zonka Feedback

Best for: CX teams that collect feedback across channels, including SMS and WhatsApp.

Zonka Feedback sends surveys by email, SMS and WhatsApp, and collects feedback on websites and in apps. It measures NPS, CSAT and CES. Pricing is by quote, based mainly on response volume, and there’s a 14-day trial.

The catch: no published price, and its AI Feedback Intelligence product is a separate plan.

How to choose

  • You want monthly billing: SurveyRock ($35), Typeform ($39) or Alchemer ($55 per user).
  • You’ve hit a response limit: SurveyRock Solo for 2,500 a month, or Team for 10,000. Alchemer Collaborator allows 75,000 a year.
  • You want branding gone on a small plan: SurveyRock Solo. For your own logo and colors, Team.
  • You rely on SMS or WhatsApp: SurveyRock doesn’t send them yet. SurveySparrow sends surveys by WhatsApp, so check what your plan includes before you leave, and compare Zonka Feedback.
  • You want a CX platform sold by quote: Zonka Feedback.
  • You need conjoint at a published price: Alchemer Full Access, or stay on SurveySparrow’s Research Starter.

Before you switch

Export your responses from SurveySparrow as a CSV or Excel file first. Each tool imports differently, so test a small file. SurveyRock imports responses from a CSV or Excel file into a survey you’ve already built, and questions from a Word or text file. It doesn’t import a SurveySparrow survey directly.
