6 Typeform Alternatives in 2026, Compared on Price and Responses

SurveyRock Team · · 7 min read

The best Typeform alternative depends on what’s pushing you away. If it’s response limits, look at SurveyRock or Fillout. If you want a free form builder, try Tally. For forms that do more, such as payments or signed documents, look at Jotform or Paperform. If you want a familiar survey tool, there’s SurveyMonkey.

We make SurveyRock, so it’s first on this list. We’ve used the same format for every tool, including ours, with the catch for each.

Typeform alternatives at a glance

Tool Best for Free plan Cheapest paid plan Platform branding One question at a time
SurveyRock More responses than Typeform for the money, and survey analysis 100 responses a month $35 a month, or $350 a year, for 2,500 responses a month Removed from $35 a month, or $350 a year Yes, the Pageless format, on every plan
Tally A free form builder Unlimited forms and submissions, within fair usage $29 a month, or $290 a year Removed from $29 a month, or $290 a year Add a page after each question
Fillout A high free response limit 1,000 responses a month $15 a month billed yearly ($180 a year), for 2,000 responses a month Removed from $40 a month billed yearly ($480 a year) Give each question its own page
Jotform Forms that take payments 100 submissions a month $39 a month, or $408 a year, for 1,000 submissions a month Removed from $39 a month, or $408 a year Yes, the Card Form layout
Paperform Forms that lead to payments and documents 30 submissions a month $49 a month billed yearly Removed on every paid plan Yes, One-at-a-time mode
SurveyMonkey A familiar survey tool with a broad feature set Limited responses per survey $468 a year Removed from $1,668 a year Yes, the One Question at a Time format

Prices are US list prices in US dollars, checked on 2 November 2026 unless the note at the end says otherwise. For comparison, Typeform’s free plan takes 10 responses a month. Basic is $39 a month or $327 a year for 100 responses a month. Plus is $79 a month or $663 a year for 1,000 responses and removes Typeform’s branding. Business is $129 a month or $1,083 a year for 10,000 responses. Each paid plan can add more responses for a fee.

When to stay on Typeform

Stay if you use it to capture and enrich sales leads. From Plus, Typeform adds third-party data, such as company size and industry, to a lead’s email address. SurveyRock doesn’t do that.

1. SurveyRock

Best for: teams that want more responses than Typeform for the money, and analysis of what people wrote.

Solo is $35 a month or $350 a year, with 2,500 responses a month, skip logic and no SurveyRock branding. Team is $79 a month or $790 a year, with 10,000 responses a month, 5 staff seats, and your own logo and colors. The Pageless format shows one question at a time on every plan. From Growth at $179 a month, theme detection groups open-text answers, and AI drafts an executive summary. New accounts get 14 days of Growth with no credit card.

The catch: the Free plan has no logic, which Typeform includes on its free plan. SurveyRock doesn’t collect payments or enrich leads. We hold no SOC 2 or ISO certification today; both are on our roadmap.

2. Tally

Best for: people who want a free form builder with logic.

Tally’s free plan offers unlimited forms and submissions within its fair usage guidelines, with conditional logic, payments and file uploads. Pro is $29 a month or $290 a year, removes Tally’s branding and adds team workspaces and custom domains.

The catch: there’s no one-question-per-page setting. You add a page break after each question yourself. It’s a form builder, so survey analysis isn’t the focus.

3. Fillout

Best for: forms that need a high response limit without a paid plan.

Fillout’s free plan gives you 1,000 responses a month, unlimited forms and unlimited seats, with conditional logic and payment collection. Starter is $15 a month billed yearly, for 2,000 responses a month. Pro is $40 a month billed yearly, for 5,000 responses, and removes all branding. Business is $75 a month billed yearly, with unlimited responses.

The catch: the free plan shows a Fillout badge and Starter keeps light branding, so branding only goes at Pro. Form analytics start at Business. For one question at a time, you give each question its own page.

4. Jotform

Best for: forms that do more than ask questions, such as taking payments or collecting signed documents.

The free Starter plan gives you 100 submissions a month across 5 forms, with Jotform’s branding. Bronze is $39 a month or $408 a year at list price, with 1,000 submissions a month, and removes the branding. Card Forms show one question at a time. Check its pricing page for any current offer.

The catch: it’s a form builder first, and its ranking question is a separate widget. Jotform suggests Classic forms when you need many fields or advanced customization. See how it compares.

5. Paperform

Best for: forms that turn into payments, contracts or other documents.

Paperform’s free plan gives you 30 submissions a month, with a badge you can’t turn off. Pro is $49 a month billed yearly, with unlimited submissions under its fair use policy, and every paid plan removes the badge. One-at-a-time mode is a setting in the form editor.

The catch: the free plan’s 30 submissions won’t go far, and it’s a form builder rather than a survey tool. Check its pricing page for any current offer.

6. SurveyMonkey

Best for: teams that want a familiar survey tool with a broad feature set.

Paid plans start at $468 a year, billed annually, or $149 a month if you need monthly billing. Its One Question at a Time format is a setting in the survey designer.

The catch: removing its branding starts at $1,668 a year, and going over your limit costs $0.15 a response. See every SurveyMonkey plan and what it really costs, or compare seven SurveyMonkey alternatives.

How to choose

  • You’ve hit a response limit: SurveyRock Solo for 2,500 a month, or Team for 10,000. Fillout’s free plan takes 1,000.
  • It needs to stay free: Tally or Fillout.
  • You want branding gone for less: SurveyRock Solo, Tally Pro or Jotform Bronze. For your own logo and colors on SurveyRock, Team.
  • You need to take payments: Typeform takes payments from Basic. If you’re moving, Tally and Fillout list payments on their free plans, and Jotform and Paperform both handle them. SurveyRock doesn’t collect payments.
  • You want analysis of open-text answers: SurveyRock Growth.

Before you switch

Download your responses from Typeform as a CSV or Excel file first. Each tool imports differently, so test a small file. SurveyRock imports responses from a CSV or Excel file into a survey you’ve already built, and questions from a Word or text file. It doesn’t import a typeform directly.
