Turn off AI for a workspace

Workspace owners and admins can turn off every AI feature for a workspace. Use it when a client’s data must not be sent to an AI provider.

  1. Go to Workspace Settings → AI Features.
  2. Turn off Allow AI features in this workspace.

With AI off, nobody in the workspace can use AI summaries, AI text analysis, AI insights, theme detection, AI survey generation, translation drafts or AI workflow steps, and the automatic Insight cards on results pages stop. Nothing from the workspace is sent to an AI provider. Charts, crosstabs and insights calculated without AI keep working.

The setting shows when AI was turned off and by whom, and every change is logged. Turn it back on at any time. AI work already waiting in the queue stops too; a request already being answered finishes.

If the workspace is in PHI mode, AI stays off whatever this switch says.

The switch covers SurveyRock’s AI features in the product. It does not cover analysis SurveyRock staff carry out for you as part of a Managed service engagement, which follows the terms of that engagement.
